Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. Great idea walking the dog early and enjoying some fresh air! Walgreens has a list of items available through the drive through so people don't have to go into the store. (I wish they would have just emailed that list along with the announcement.)
Stay safe (and stress-free if you can).

I walk in the neighborhood on nice days. I'm up to 1200 steps!
Out of craft materials, so I have a jigsaw puzzle out.
Just ordered a paint by number kit online so I'll have something to do. Ten weeks is a loooong time.

I love letters and cards. I need to do more of that. We talked about that in my writer's group. A nice way to support our post offices is continuing to buy stamps and utilize their services. I'd hate to be left with just the big corporations to meet our needs and continue to shut down our USPS's. One of our writers suggested how nice it is to receive cards and such. Reminded me that I love creating cards when I can get to my supplies. Life has been rough this year after my back surgery. Still trying to get my strength back.
Thanks for the information! And keep up with the cards. It's good for you and for others.
Gentle hugs (not now but hopefully soon), Linda
I am still walking every morning at sunrise but now I do it alone. My dog Sadie became very ill the end of April and I had to make the decision to put her down. She had been with me for 11 years so it was a hard thing to do but the vet said it was the right thing to do.
Gentle thoughts, Linda
Yes, I hope we can keep our mail carriers working. :)
