Is anyone taking it, and if so, how well does it work?

I didn't take "Ampyra" per se' but tried AMino PYRAdine and went into shock. I've heard some good things about it helping with walking. Aminopyradine did that as well although it just wasn't right for me. Good luck with whatever you decide. Hope you let us know if it is a good match for you.

I took it for a while a few years ago. Didn't remember it helping. But I have some pills left and was thinking about retrying it. I wonder if the pills are too old (several years old).

My neurologist did some timed walking tests with me and said I walked too fast to benefit from it. I guess that's a good thing? There used to be a lot of conversation on this site about Ampyra side effects but I'm not sure how you could find those old discussions. Maybe if you type Ampyra on the search icon it will locate past discussion.

I just tried typing Ampyra in the search bubble and it did pull up a lot of past discussion of the drug. Good luck in what ever you choose to do. I do remember past discussions talked of Ampyra causing seizures but that doesn't mean you'll have that side effect.

If only I didn't live in an area that has no neurology. Thanks for the supportive comments though!

The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
