My husband's Aunt passed away last night and my husband is acting like it doesn't affect him at all. This woman helped raise him. Her kids were his closest cousins and friends. I am upset and trying to help the family make arrangements. I don't know how to reach him. He acts like he doesn't care! Suggestions?

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I have found that my hubby mourns differently. He does it quietly & doesn't say much at all, he wont say much about the person who has passed away & it is like he is denial. Later on he will throw comments out like "its going to be hard on their bd" etc & others like christmas etc. He does feel it just not good at expressing it.
Men are different & process it different, just be there for him & be ready to talk when he decides to at his pace.
Lots of hugs ))
Gentle hugs, Linda
We all seem to have our own way of coping so I agree, just be supportive. So sorry for your loss.
