Maybe its a compulsion but the whole term "sex addiction" has been misused and is a frequent "excuse" cheaters use to explain away their behavior once they've been caught. Read my post "welcome to the newly betrayed" for a lot of suggestions. Keep copies of the receipts just in case things head South in the future. You could be reimbursed for dissipation of marital assets if the marriage doesn't work out. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Lori13 - for what it’s worth, I think your husband does love you. He is acting out some sexual fantasies, perhaps, but that doesn’t mean he loves you less. It may just mean that he didn’t feel like he could talk to you about it. If you continue to be open with him where he feels like you aren’t judging him (I know, it doesn’t seem like he deserves it) maybe you can work toward a more open reality? I wish the best for you, please don’t feel this is about you.
