Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
And my husbands OW probably isn't a whore either, but I do know she uses her body to get what she wants, so maybe I should do some dictionary searching to see what that really is....
The whole reason I started this thread was because my H actually told me that I was wrong to call the OW a whore... And that's what set it off... And I just called her "his whore" to be exact...
Do I think all OW are whores? No. It just brings me pleasure to call my Hs OW one... But true I am probably wrong
I get how you're feeling. My ex now lives with his girlfriend that he cheated with while we were married. He would stay with her every weekend and then back home with me during the week. One day while he was at work I packed his stuff sent him an email to come get it after work and move in with her, he did.
There's a lot of names I'd like to call her. I do call her hypocrite. She is afraid my ex is going to cheat with me. She was even afraid of this while we were still married and he would come over to visit the kids. I guess in a way he would be cheating on her, but we were still married.
Now she hates me because me and him are really great friends. I've known him since 1986. We have 8 kids together. How can we not be friends. I'll always love him and him me, but just not in a spouse way now.
Also the whole thing about her being afraid that he's going to cheat with me, SHE is the one that pursued him knowing he was married with 6 kids still at home. He's not innocent I know, but maybe is she hadn't pursued a man that did eventually cheat she wouldn't have to wrry that he'll cheat on her.
And, hey, do I have this wrong? I was so sure that OW stood for Old Whore. Or rather was short for Old Ugly Disgusting Pig-faced Whore.
But I know he won't be happy with her, already isn't... and gets more upset that he is losing me over someone who he knows isn't worth it... but he made his bed... he took her up on his offer... that was his decision, now he has to face the consequences...
I'll tell you where I'm coming from. A long, long time ago, I fell deeply in love with a married man. It wasn't just sex. It was built on friendship and caring about one another. His wife, too, called me a whore. Sure, it upset me to hear that, but I knew that I wasn't a whore. I was just a woman who happened to fall in love with the wrong person.
When things are right sometimes, the truth comes out as it did in our case. I did not ask him to, but he told his wife about us and that he loved me. It was hard. He was very torn. My intention was not to take him away from anyone - just to be able to be close to him. Not a good situation but first and foremost we are all women and feelings of love are often irrational and not easily controllable. Did I feel remorse for having hurt his wife? Yes I did. However, when she began calling me and calling me a whore among other things, it was just to try & hurt me as I was hurting her. Here calling me this helped push him further away from her and towards me. I wanted to resolve the situation and chances are that I might have tried to walk away if only we could have talked. She loved him too - but much longer.
He is no longer married and we are no longer together. The situation was so painful for all that it destroyed the very foundation it was built upon - but we still talk long distance and still care.
Calling a woman a whore, must because she is the OW will get you nowhere, except help your anger a bit. She's probably not a whore, but it makes you feel better to think that way.
Really, is this what you want, is this what you thought your marriage would be?
If he gets upset when you mention divorce-Fuck him, He is sticking it to a whore while you're married and calling you sweetie...if that's not divorceable-what is?
