I swear my husband of 20 years (last week was our anniversary) is trying to kill me by how he's handling his year plus affair with a woman who signed up online to date a married man. I have health issues that are affected by stress and have lost over 20 pounds since I found out months ago. He's not doing any of the standard things a husband should do to make it up to his wife. I realize that that is a MAJOR red flag that he doesn't want to fix it....I'm just not emotionally ready to deal with that fact. We've been together for 25 years total, over half my life and I don't know how to move forward without him. I know I can get there; but I keep holding out hope that we can work this out. I just haven't figured out how to find my own power and put myself in charge of my future. He has never put me first and never will...how do I let go?

I guess I have to pay...

Have you ever put your foot down about him ending it?
Work on yourself. Live the life you want. Stop the ill treatment of him towards you.
Strong smart men love a successful woman.
Dont live in a life you dont want.
Dont let yourself suffer.
You have a big investment in this man. It hurts. But you do have to deal
with the fact that he has ended the marriage. He would rather screw a whore and lose you.
His choices do not devalue you. You are still the wonderful person you always were. And you are better off without him.
I think Memphis has a good idea - treat your life like your business. Make sound business decisions. And move on to a better life.
Rejection always hurts. That pain will subside though. And you will see you have lost nothing by divorcing him, and have a gained so much!
