Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
My partner and I are young and lost our virginity to eachother. We've had a few issues, but have overall had a great partnership. 5 weeks ago, while we were separately visiting our families, I discovered he had searched for porn. He logged into his Gmail on my phone and didn't realize I could see his history, and I was only looking at my phone's history to find the name of the coffee shop my sister and I went to. But despite me having literal proof, like it showed it came from his device, he still tried to lie. Eventually, he confessed to having a porn addiction since he was 12 and throughout our relationship. I feel so heartbroken and awful about myself, I've contemplated suicide. I was already diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and ptsd, but it's all gotten worse. I don't know what to do. He's working to better himself and has been clean for 5 weeks, but I'm still hurting so bad. We've focused so hard on him and how to prevent a relapse, that I've completely neglected myself. Does anyone have any advice or resources?

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
Talk to him about what is he doing NOW to get help for his addiction. Is he currently in therapy? Are his parents involved in his recovery?
He needs professional help to cure this. You can't do ANYTHING that will help him. When someone has an addiction, it is all on that person. It has nothing to do with anyone else in their lives. He needs professional help, through therapy. If he hasn't already, have him make an appointment with a psychiatrist.
It's going to be okay.... you need to breathe, calm yourself down, and take care of yourself so that you can be strong to deal with all of this.
You can not FIX him so stop attempting and love yourself for your own good.
Work on your health and well being of your soul .
Do not focus on him and his addiction, it will hurt you more when he relapses, which he will if he does not go out and do the work for himself.
You must focus on your own self love and your worth. Love him in a way you are not afraid to lose him.
It still hurts to have those we love to fail, but we still can not fix them, only they can fix themselves.
I live my life..work, family.. hobbies. Maybe he is like me and really enjoys sex and beautiful woman. I know this.. I have lived long enough to know a lot of guys that would not have the slightest interest in porn of any kind and because they don’t, accuse us that do of being sexual perverts and deviates. Those same people are as dull as a f’n rock and most of them know it.
