Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I have some issues with depression & having battling a problem with losing my hair for the past 3 years due to medication I'm on for the depression, among some other challenging issues that have really rocked by confidence & sense of self-worth, including not being able to drive & having no close friends to lean on. My common-law husband of 3 years seems to have given up on me. He initially told me that he was leaving me due to my depression issues & not wanting to go out with him all the time. Then I found notes written about one of his female coworkers (his superior) about how much he likes her, drawing hearts next to her name, his feelings about her...blah, blah, makes me want to cry for the millionth time just talking about it. I am still in a state of shock and definetely in a depressive rut. I am angry at him for not being honest about having feelings for someone else (for how long & are how involved are the two of them already? who knows? I don't think I want to know). It doesn't matter anymore now, but I am left bereft, alone, in shock, numb. Spend most days crying and angry. I am also stuck living in the same house with him for 5 more months until our lease is up, doing most of the cooking and cleaning, since he works full time (getting to see her everyday must keep his stress level down...) while he gets to go out, text his friends, go out with work buddies (which likely include her) and have a great time with all his little secrets while I wonder how I will go on with no one to talk to about being left behind. I haven't even told my family yet, I am just so embarrassed for myself & over the whole situation. I just want someone to talk to, feel so alone.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We're here for you!
Also, I understand about making a guy most of your world and not cultivating friendships, but this may be a hard lesson that you really do need to have outside friendships.
You can and will get through this! Hugs.
Anyway, my hair is growing back, but it has been a slow-coming process. I found a herbal-type supplement that is helping it grow back while I stay on the anti-depressant medication, which is a stimulant (Dexedrine). First & 2nd line anti-depressants didn't work for me & a stimulant is all that has worked. But having thin and bald patches & trying to hide them was/is still emotionally painful for me. I used to have quite long hair down to the middle of my back. I am working on growing back the last couple of smaller patches, but at one point I was about half bald.
In a lot of ways emotional betrayal is just as bad, or worse, as a physical affair. I think it actually would have been easier for me to deal with an actual physical affair than it was for me to read his "loving" feelings toward this other woman.- "when I'm around her I lose control", "I want to hold her and kiss her", writing her name with hearts beside it, and all this type of nauseating shit.
I will likely seek out counselling & a support group that has other depression sufferers, because I need someone to talk to. All the losses at the same time is too much for me.
The wondering/not knowing & losing the trust is so difficult. Where is he now when he's gone for so long? What type of interactions is he having with her everyday at work? What types of things is he saying about me to his family and his friends since our breakup? I just am still filled with so much pain & anger. Sometimes I feel I would like to tell people in his family & his friends & coworkers my side of the story & what I'm going through so that they will understand it's not all just "she was making me miserable with her depression". Actually it was him who was incapable of being a true companion and supporter to me & him who gave up on me, & him whose eyes wandered to someone else.
As far as the hair loss, that does seem to be an uncommon side effect. Have you talked with your psychologist about the hair loss? You could look into wearing the inexpensive hair extensions that clip on, they sell them at most discount beauty supply stores. Just to change up your look a little and have some fun with it :) Sounds like you could use even a little bit of fun right about now.
I would recommend counseling. This is a tough time you are going through.
Just clean cut it once you get your ducks in a row with housing etc.
It's important that you take care of your mental health and consider carefully before entering another relationship before you are stable and health enough.
Have a heart-to-heart with your ex-boyfriend. Ask him to leave, but continue paying rent until the lease is over. He may do it.
It sucks this happened to you.
Good luck.
