Ok then I vote for Gotahorse or Debbear or Napa.

I gotta say it is sad that we might have to have a CL. i'm ashamed at the person who is doing all this. My personal way of dealing with it is kill them all with funny and kindness but I know not everyone can do that.

I cant do it jibi....just got MY warning....damn....!!! s'all good though..debbear is still clean...for now.

i hope you all get a good CL. maybe he/she can help the situation

I'm new here (Feb 17) so I don't understand some things. If one person keeps getting so many kicked off, for petty stuff, why doesn't DS catch on and warn that person? I have only read a few things that I thought of as kind of mean spirited, & figured it would eventually run it's course, which it did. People should just not engage when something seems to be offensive, although that can be tough if you feel you've been attacked. Why one would attack another doesn't mke sense at all either. We're all in or have been or will be in the same boat.

Ptiss, Mack, Deb, any of our "older" members would be great!!

The answer to why people are sometimes " offended" is that very often they interpret posts at being directly pointed at them when they are not, or are pointed at another.

Many personalities in life in general are unable to distinguish written posts here on line in black and white are not necessarily written in the "tone" and inflection in which the reader reads it.
What I may find amusing or whitty may be taken by another mbr as "rude" or " intimidating".

On the other hand, when off topic or insulting posts and threads are created, especially by non mbrs of a specific group; it is very disruptive and confusing to all mbrs, especially our newbies who are so desperately seeking real help and become utterly frightened and put off by the drama Creating these threads is kinda like being the
star of the show, garnering attention or even more; if not in the
spotlight making certain in any way, to create it to be.
At least that is what my therapist says about it.
She is asking me to consider leaving DS.

It is so sad to see mayhem and disruption in a safe haven community as this.
Just be mindful of those who are not mbrs of the group.

Once upon a time on DS you had to be a member to post to the groups............they changed it a while back ..........can't remember why (hell - can't remember what I ate for dinner last night)..........anyway............you no longer have to join Hep C to post................you can come and go as ya please..................not just Hep C.......but any regular DS groups...............don't think its the same for Sub Groups....................but I could be wrong........been wrong before (about a lot of things)

How I was shown the "way" of the group or any other group was that I was To join the groups to post daily and be amongst other "friends" for support rather than be a non member. I have been a mbr here in the group and on DS since Sept. I never even imagined nor did it ever occur to me that someone who is not in the group would be participting daily. Makes no sense to me but who am I.
In anycase we are all here now so lets make the best of the situation.

When I signed up here, posted my profile, etc. I thought that made me a member. Am I supposed to do something else to be a member. I found this site right before I started tx in Feb just by typing in hepc supp,groups. I was involved w/a group when near the end of my tx 2 yrs ago, and found that nobody really wanted to chat w/newbies for one thing, and when I mentioned God, faith, prayer, etc. I was attacked by almost everybody and left the group & didn't want to bother w/finding out if there was any other ones out there. This was after going through really shitty trmnt, slow respnd, then relapsed. So now I'm here & have found it much nicer than the last one & feel sorry that there are these problems. But people are people no matter what and I feel there is much more good here than bad. Anyway..back to my Q...am I supposed to do something to become a member?

Apparantly u do not, however if you go on main page to groups, you can scroll down to our group and click on it and then you become a member of it. You can join other groups, too! Maybe you'll see some of us there, too!!!! We're all over!!!

Well I just joined but now it seems like everyone is going to leave!!! I'll check out other groups too.
