The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

This forum is being slaughtered and people are being warned,banned, and just plain leaving because they express a different opinion than other people. This has got to stop NOW. These posts are being removed because they are being reported as offensive.
I think that the only positive way to solve this is a "popular vote" for a C.L.
I'd like to nominate Mckenzie but there are others who are equally qualified if she is not interested.
Please just throw some names out there and see what happens.
And to D.S. please do not remove this post as being offensive because it is meant as a positive thread in an attempt to save this room.
If you remove anything just take out the bad replies not the whole thread..okay

McKenzie, I'm sure Oink didn't mean to insult you since this is a nice forum.

I have only been around for 5 or 6 months. I miss several people's posts and besides Mosrite whom I liked communicating with, I'm not even sure who all is gone! Thinking to Facebook some in case it's me or them gone next.

CL is like a moderator then. I vote to keep it as it is because everyone has ties here and not everyone gets along. I see it as being a secondary mess. That's just my opinion.

Been doing the blaaaaaahs for the last week and haven't even felt up to signing in. So, I missed the event and don't really care what it was. I've got alot of support and info from here and would hate to see it change, People have different opinions that's the way it is. It's hard to believe, but sometimes people think my opinions are dumb. Go figure. Anyway, thanks everyone for the support.

Well thank you Napa:).....................and I do meet the criteria:

To be considered for the role of a CL, DS asks that you:

1. Be okay with having a profile privacy setting of either "Everybody" or "DS Members". That way new members can greet you back! YEPPER, always been OPEN

2. Have not received prior warnings from DS for violations of the Rules of the Road. - NOPE - NEVER - Not as of March 17,2012 1:02 CST:)

3. Have been an active member of the Hepatitis C support group for at least six months. " YEPPER

However....I am sure there are much better qualified folks out there..............a few names come to mind:):)

I vote for SS2. This mbr seems to have it all. Knowledge, longtime DS membership ( at least thats what I think i read they said in this thread) has a strong voice and opinion of what's right. I believe SS2 will keep things tight and in absolute and truly regulated control.
