Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
This forum is being slaughtered and people are being warned,banned, and just plain leaving because they express a different opinion than other people. This has got to stop NOW. These posts are being removed because they are being reported as offensive.
I think that the only positive way to solve this is a "popular vote" for a C.L.
I'd like to nominate Mckenzie but there are others who are equally qualified if she is not interested.
Please just throw some names out there and see what happens.
And to D.S. please do not remove this post as being offensive because it is meant as a positive thread in an attempt to save this room.

In case you're not already familiar with what Community Leaders (CL) do, they're vibrant members who volunteer to greet new folks to the group, offer positive and constructive advice in discussion posts, help steer negative topics back on track and occasionally close a clearly abusive discussion post. To be considered for the role of a CL, DS asks that you:
1. Be okay with having a profile privacy setting of either "Everybody" or "DS Members". That way new members can greet you back!
2. Have not received prior warnings from DS for violations of the Rules of the Road.
3. Have been an active member of the Hepatitis C support group for at least six months.
Any interested should just apply.
I've received a pm at FB that yet another good old member was ban.
I just couldn't believe it, what is going on.. who is reporting false reports.. I am still waiting for an answer to my request on coming back as the CL again, but feel free to nominate whomever you think will be able to do the daily job requirements... keep you posted... m
