Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
Who doesn't want love? As synical as you may get at the comment that it will find you - don't shrug that off.
The fact is life is about timing. The right one could be getting his/her life together right now so that when you meet them in the future they will fit your true self and thus be "the one" for you.
You never know, I think there's more than just one "the one" for all of us. While you're on your own, it's best to prepare yourself, work on yourself, discover yourself, grow, learn, become the you that you're okay with at the end of the day when you're all alone and the next time you find yourself in a relationship, chances are it will be successful.
With the passing of time though, I find my standards are slowly slipping. 2 yrs ago I was holding out for Mr Right, now having encountered a few more Mr Not Right's, I find myself thinking that I could settle for a Mr Right Now..... Not good.
NO SETTLING
NO SETTLING
EVER
as steph wisely alluded to, you have to be comfortable with yourself and being alone.
Settling is just going to make you unhappy in the long run and nobody wants that!
Oh did I mention..no settling!
but I understand what you mean. Completely and totally..unfortunately.
