So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I went to do my exit paperwork Friday - They wouldn't let me.. They had me do a leave of absence for a few months. In case I need to go back. This way my position will still be there and they will be able to take me back even if they aren't hiring at the time. It's nice to feel needed and wanted, but I am having a hard time making it through each day there. I have been snapping at the kids working for me, because they aren't doing their jobs. They don't know I'm leaving, and I am sure when these lazy little girls find out, they will be very happy.. Laziness annoys the crap out of me.
Even though I'm leaving, doesn't mean I'm going to slack on my responsibilities.. I've tried, but I find it to hard to do.
How much longer ( I may have missed something ) are you still working this job? Were you okay with the ' leave of absence' instead of ' exit ' papers? I understand it's nice that it does sound like they do want you to be able to come back if you decide to. If the lazy little girls aren't doing their job then you have every right to be annoyed no matter how much longer you are there!
