Since this thread gets the most attention.

I want to purchase a gun for self protection/ownership.

Opinions? 38 or 9mm? I welcome messages from everyone. Im leaning towards 9mm due to ease of loading in case of emergency but my only real experience with weapons is the M16 and M4 :/

Husband has two guns and a lot of experience with them. Based on what you said he suggests a 38 or a 380

He also said "9mm has a little more kick. .38 and .380 are perfect for protection. Enough to stop someone from getting to you and for you to get away. He owns a Hi-Point.380 and a SW .40 sigma."

I've never shot a .38, but I'd have less trust in the 9mm. The cartridges are puny, and it feels alot less powerful than my .357 magnum.

Recon. Can you put livecams pro on your tablet.. It's a little weird that you can watch people all over the world doing things like shopping, or in bars, or just walking down the street, yet sometimes when I'm bored I search the cameras..

Big brother is definitely watching....

hubs has his best friend, my brother, and my dad over to watch the fights. I have the kiddos to bed and i am chilling in the living room with the pups and watching Untold Stories of the ER. life is good for the moment! now if only i could stop thinking about the cheese-cake in the fridge....

I hate cheese cake. It can be doctored up with toppings, flavorings, anything and it's still all gross to me.
