May as well get up soon. Have to wash my hair before work today as have appointment at hairdressers straight after work. Makes it sound like I never wash my hair lol

Just heard a truck outside. Got excited that they might be fixing our power. But no. At least I got a water delivery.

I want power back. It's cold and rainy today. I have to figure out how to wash my hair, because no one would want to see me like this. I suppose I could go to work and say my costume is - victim of hurricaine sandy. Do you think that would work?

A preschool party is just NOT the place to wear your ultimate slut Halloween costume, ladies. I'm no prude, but seriously, there's a time and place for that. Leave the fishnets, thigh-high stilettos and micro-mini for somewhere other than a room full of 4 year-olds and parents.

awesome--------------i agree! i made a post on cafemom about that the other day and was amazed at the amount of people who didnt care. i think it is just plain tacky. last year when i took the kids trick or treating we rounded the corner and were stuck behind a very over-eight woman who squeezed herself into a regular (it may have even been juniors) "fairy" costume and thigh high hose. her butt was hanging out, she wasnt wearing a shirt or anything underneath, just the thin material and you could see her back rolls through the stretch velco pieces. there was cellulite everywhere. it was awful. it would have been equally awful if it was a thin woman with her kids. it wasnt awful because of her weight. it was awful because she was out with her KIDS like that. i would be mortified if i went through the photo albums and saw photos of me with my mom like that.

No infection except in my right ear, so i am taking some antibiotics. so I am clear for surgery. :) :D

i am wanting to go get a $2 boo-rito at chipotle tonight with my husband! but, i dont know if they will let him get a burrito BOWL since he is allergic to the tortilla? i am getting ready to call them and see!

OMG des, if my mama woulda been out with me like that I would have been embarrassed. Luckily my mama knew what was appropriate and what wasn't. I would love to be a sexy nurse or whatever for Halloween while I am still YOUNG and WITHOUT kids. As soon as I have a child with my bf the sexiness gets taken off the market. I mean I will go out a say a ninja or whatever, but that's as much as I'd do with a child in my life.

i went as a fairy this year. i wore these long teal and flower covered legging, a black asymmetrical skirt, black ballet flat shoes, a black quarter sleeve shirt that had teal flowers on it, a long black cardigan, black and teal wings, and little black antennae. i had an "adult" costume that i put on behind closed doors later!

I ended up craving a jack-o-lantern last night. Might upload a pic for you guys to see. I didn't actually carve it but i helped with marking it so we knew where to cut. I carved one as a child and ended up cutting myself, which I didn't wanna risk.

Halloween was postponed. Teacher Convention cancelled. New school schedule being made to make up lost "snow" days.

The town just called. the Pres is sending gasoline to our state, soon. I am SOOO glad I filled up on Friday, and haven't driven my car since Sunday.
People are desperate around here and the road are in horrific shape.
