Ashamed to be
I PMS so badly it makes my life seem like I'm on a roller coaster. One moment I'm good. Next 3 weeks before my cycle, I'm the worst person to family and friends, I'm picky, nagging, bitchy, controlling, mean. I feel like im so terrible in these moments. Every month it's the same thing.
For the past two weeks I couldn't really explain why I've been feeling so caring towards my partner. I'm never that way at all. I'm never overly caring and picky. But I've been that way for the past two days and it's become more of an aggressive way of caring. Where I start to say and assume and accuse him of all these things that aren't even going on. It starts up a huge argument where we go back and forth and exchange mean words.
Now that my period has come. Im so mad at myself for not noticing the symptoms either. It's like I get trapped in it and can't decipher the difference between normal me and PMS. I feel more upset with myself for not having control with it. For not being able to put a stop button

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

For me, building an awareness of what is going on is often the hardest part of learning how to manage whatever ^it^ is currently causing me problems. Sounds to me like you have built a tremendous awareness. Perhaps instead of belittling yourself for not noticing earlier, you can congratulate yourself for noticing in time for the next cycle? Maybe even be gentle with yourself while you experiment with the different coping tools? Sometimes the tools work better than others. . .
But I'd still rather have that "Stop" button, if ya find it. . . There are hobbies I'd rather have than this symptom management BS.
BUT whatever it is it's important to get help ....
People aren't going to continue to be subjected to bad treatment ya know and nor should they be and it's no good for you to be going through this and feeling badly .... It's hard on you
I would start by seeing your family doctor..... He/she may want to refer you to a gynecologist? perhaps

I say all this to say, you should talk with your doctor.
