So, I've had a bit of a problem for a while now. My husband doesn't seem as passionate as he was back before we'd moved in together. We've been married for a little over a year and have lived together for nearly two. Don't get me wrong, he's still affectionate, still tries his best to make me happy and helps out around the house. But there's no more random lingering kisses, make out sessions, pulling me into his lap or random sex. It's almost routine... I had a baby a little over a month ago and now it's almost stopped altogether. I certainly don't expect any sex until I get the all clear from my doctor, but I'd still appreciate knowing I'm wanted. I've tried telling him this, and he just didn't seem to get the message, or claims I'm greedy for sex (I have the higher libido between us). How can I get him to understand it's not just sex I'm after, but that feeling of being wanted, desired again without hurting his feelings or making him feel like he's not doing enough?

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Also, I wonder too that you're just more aware or sensitive to things right now. I'm not trying to patronize or dismiss your feelings at all so I hope it doesn't come across that way. I just know that sometimes when my husband and I seem to be disconnected or not on the same page, usually we both are slightly off on our perceptions of what we think is really going on with each other and lose a bit of self awareness in the process.
Maybe it works for other people, but it never worked for me.
I feel like leaving him to make him feel something is not the key. If the poster should leave for a few days, it should be for HER personal gratification .. Like give him space and enjoy this time on her terms... Like spending time with the children and bonding with them without anyone else around or taking a weekend away with her girlfriends. Kwim?
