i too often forget that rest is a productive activity. i am a human being, not a human doing.
Mel, one day at a time is my philosophy too. I'm There's always tomorrow.
serenity, it takes me hours to get motivated. I lay on the loveseat for probably 5 to 8 hours a day. Good for you for keeping busy and off of the couch and chairs!
arfie, you have a lot of responsibilities. Get that rest when you can!

I feel totally up to the task. I work in the legal and compliance field, in a heavily regulated industry, so some of the pressure is inherent to that kind of work. But I’m also really good at what I do. I think it’s just the reality of still trying to perform at a high level and still being effective as your own body and self continue to evolve.
Never too late to keep learning and adopting to new ways of doing your job so I’m down with that.
