I see booze as being an issue for anybody, because we all tend to get stupid and make mistakes when we drink. And, for me anyway, booze tends to bring out my dark, jealous side, not a good mix...

My son has a very good friend who is married to a stripper. It has been a horribly difficult relationship. She takes whatever she can get from other men, then tells him there is nothing going on. Most of his friends have little or no respect for him, however, his payoff is that they have lots of stuff. I also knew someone well that was a bartender at a strip joint, and he told me I wouldn't even be able to imagine how messed up these girls are. Most are into one kind of drug or another, or drink too much. I think it's a risky move on your part, but you're an adult, and will figure out what is right for you.....

Since I originally posted this a couple of months ago (gee, it keeps getting bumped back), I've decided to avoid both bars and strip clubs and sit my butt in church.

To call all strippers players is completely untrue, unfair, and inaccurate. I have plenty of friends who strip for a living- they happen to be blessed with nice bodies and need money to pay their way through school, off student loans, etc... Money is hard to come by these days. Sometimes working a full time job, you only make minimum wage, especially when your young. Now-a-days, a minimum wage job gets you squat. You can barely live on your own with that kind of income. Some people (some of my stripper friends) just do what they can to get by and make it through paying their bills. Many aren't even proud of what they do and don't feel that they have a bunch of other options- even though others might think they do have options.

Sure, some strippers are definitely whores and players who see sex as just sex and aren't loyal in relationships. But so are some doctors, some lawyers, some engineers, and some people who work at burger king. Then again some are good people who are perfectly fine in a relationship and see stripping as just a job to make some money.

The only real issue i see with dating an exotic dancer is your jealousy level. Figure out how you feel about other men and women seeing her naked and trying to bring her home. And all dancers at one point get fans/regulars who can get pushy and buy them things. How would you feel about that?

You can't make a stripper into a housewife.

i dated one who was in fact working me like a "girl friend experience". it was fun and a really cool fantasy for a while. but i knew all along what it was and what it was not.

more recently i have been a "regular customer" with a dancer. i come to the club where she works. i always call her and tell her when i am coming. yes she gave me her number. i come early and we hang out at the bar, we drink, we eat (the club actually has good food.)we talk. eventually we go to the vip area for 30 minutes. the point is that she spends almost 4 hours with me when i see her. in the vip room we kiss deeply and engage in the best foreplay i can imagine. i have been with other dancers and they usually don't kiss. she is a single mother so her personal time is limited but we are planning to see each other outside the club. we will see how that goes. we text each other back and forth often. to me, she is either really good at this or there may be more to this than meets the eye.

I agree that stripping is just a job. Not to be disrespectful, but to all of you saying you are getting into relationships with strippers and think the extra time they spend with you at work is because they like you, i very much doubt that. It is a job and they see you as a good customer, someone who will spend their money. Nothing more. Meeting outside the strip club is different, you have nothing to do with her job and if she shows interest then it would be more likely she likes you for you.

i would not call it a "relationship" but it is a relationship. i don't know if you read my previous reply but my dancer will hang out with me for 4 hour clips of time with just a 30 minute dip into the vip room. she doesn't have to spend that kind of time with me when she could be working the room. you can call it what you like but i'm having fun with it.

Here's a novel thought....
Instead of just always being about sex why don't u get to know her before jumping in the sack with her and find out if she's the type of girl to give sex for money in the back room... maybe she's not.
