My mind is set on moving to Philly next year. No residency restrictions and then I found the RSOL site for PA and there's a law that will probably pass that puts a 1000 feet restriction. And you know once this starts it goes downhill. I've tried to contact RSOL up there for days now and get no response. I called Senator Boscola's office and left a message last night. One of her assistants called me back today and I told her about the bad points about residency restriction and she told me I'm the first one to contact them about it and told me to send her info on it and she'll speak with the Senator about it. Why is the PA RSOL not contacting them and why don't they get back to me. This is so important. If you live in PA contact your Senator about this. If you need the names and contact info I'd be glad to post it here.

But somehow they can fund the AWA....bet I can guess where some of the $$$ is coming from
PARSOL is trying to bring an action against the AWA. It's all about money. The ACLU will not touch it. The Defenders Association can not do anything until someone is charged and appointed a PD. There is your free lawyers.
So, there is a &2,000 to $3,000 shortage of funding for a private firm to take this on.

According to the new law, everyone currently on the registry will be contacted. There is no time periods for this to happen. I can see it taking another year. Also, every will have to be Tiered by the assessment board. That will take forever considering there are over 10,000 to be done.

I was thinking about starting with a message board just for pa sex offender support. They're free and I have a webmaster who could do one up for me.. so that would cost me some money but I don't mind.
