If you need backup support, like commission reports, we even have a letter from Wegllingto.. I don't remember her name, the one who's kid was killed and they helped write up these restrictions? We have a letter from her regretting them. Our group here Florida Action Committee has a packet we're going to send to all the Senators in all their offices.. the PA RSOL site says that they are about $2000 from having enough to get a lawyer to fight this..other than that I see no other info...seems it's down for maintainance or something

The PA RSOL site says they are trying to raise money to fight this. Do you know anything more about that? I have been passing along the contact info for Senator Boscola's asst. to people I know who will be willing to write or call, people who work with people in poverty and the homeless ...church leaders and caseworkers who know my hubby's story and are sympathetic. I've asked them to not only write or call, but to see if they can find a few people to do the same.

Hi Coolrich001 I've contacted the PA RSOL and got 1 reply and then nothing. So I want to be involved with the fight. I'm curretly faxing reports like the Practitioners Advisory Group which just put out a a great report just for the US Sentencing commision. I've called and spoke with Boscola's office and they said I was the only one who contacted them. Since that faeryedark has as well about these new laws they're trying to pass. Since I'm planning on moving to Philly with my business end of the year and my son moving in Jan '14 upon his release I intend to be part of it all. I need some contacts. People I can ask questions when needed and what is happening now. thanks hope you can help.

It is true that PARSOL has a large short fall in fighting the AWA in PA. If you can help out there, let Frank know.

Thanks, I'll do that. Have they contacted the ACLU? Since you guys have had litigation and a supreme court decision I'm sure they would jump in the fight. That would take care of your lawyer.

I'm wondering where the rest of the PA people are on here. I know there were quite a few.
I will be calling the Senators on the list you posted, probably one or 2 a day. I REALLY hate talking on the phone. I'm much more of an e-mail/ written word type person *sigh* but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Right now, I'm trying to get more people to call or e-mail Boscola's office because at least have had "some" feedback

It was hard for me to start calling as well. But once you do it a couple of times .. and since you know the facts, it gets easier.

I have a love/hate relationship with my state senator. I love calling and writing him and he hates hearing from me. I have been at it since 2004. Will keep doing it until I can't for one reason or another.
The ACLU has said they will not fight the PA version of the AWA. As for the residency restrictions, Allegheny county lost because it is not incorporated in PA state law. If the state passes a residency law, it will have to be fought all over again.

Anyone that wants to join SOSEN, let me know. I will need to know what screen name you are choosing and your email. They will want a phone number for a personal call. Been burned before by people trying to bring them down.

Not to side track this issue, but does anyone think it is ironic that the Supreme Court is most likely going to rule that Obamacare is unconstitutional but never even touched on the Adam Walsh bill?
