My son wants to join some dating sites when he gets out. He knows his computer will be monitored.. that is if they let him have one. I see some dating sites are restricting SOs from listing on their sites. It's bad enough he's going to be afraid to leave the house... Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing?
Now, about the cops search and seizure. I thought you didn't have to come into your home or make you get out of your car, or do a search and seizure without some kind of warrant. I know the PO can do whatever they want but not the cops.

There is no parole in Florida. He has 15 years probation for accidentally downloading child porn. He can drink to excess and can be drug tested as much as they want.
We moved to PA to make his life a little easier. Being in a city where the police are stretched thin I'm hoping they'll eventually let my son live a fairly normal life. despite all the other crap.

This line in the sand nonsense will get your son arrested and sent back to prison. Please do not allow your son to listen to such foolishness.
Mature and wise people understand that you have to affect a change within the context of the law.
People talk about rebellions, lines in the sand, etc. We have thousands of registrants here in Oklahoma that will no longer be required to register after last week’s Oklahoma Supreme Court decision; so we are making progress through the courts.
If any of those registrants would have decided to “stand his or her ground” or “draw his line in the sand” they may well have been arrested for doing something foolish and where would they be right now? They would be back in jail instead of in the process of getting off the registry.
Common sense would dictate to me that any registrant’s main goal should be to stay out of jail.
Change is coming, and I DARE anyone tell me that “nothing will ever change” regarding these laws.
Oklahoma is an ultra-conservative state directly in the Bible Belt. Every year the Oklahoma legislators seemed to organize a contest to see which party could introduce and pass the most sex offender bills. It was really ridiculous.
Trust me, I have lived in Oklahoma my entire life. If change regarding these sex offender laws can happen in Oklahoma, it can happen anywhere.
