Hey All, I've had times before when I have needed to lose a few pounds, but when I wasn't paying attention I inched up 20 pounds! I would like to eat healthier and exercise more to feel stronger, be healthier and lose some weight. I thought it would help to sort of check in here as an accountability thing.
I'm supposed to stick to 1,100 calories a day which I'm finding pretty restrictive. It's okay but I realize I was probably eating over 2,000 calories a day! WOW! I'm also supposed to exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes - cardio. I'm acustomed to exercising quite a bit but I hurt my neck so I've been out for about 5 weeks and I'm supposed to ease back into it.
I'm starting at 162 lbs. and the doctor would like to see me lose between 20 and 30 pounds. I'd like to see that too.

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body.
