My mom is in a long term care facility because she has a fear of falling and is barely mobile because she won't stand. Which is hard on me enough as it is. Yesterday I was filling out a medicaid application to pay for her stay and I was informed they would be taking a portion of my mom's income each month. I live with my mom and have no income of my own while I attend school. So I won't have enough to pay for all the bills. To make matters worse if my mom is there at least 6 months they will begin to take all of her income and will only leave $45 for her. So I will be left with nothing to pay the mortgage and bills. I will probably have to leave school to find work. I'm just so upset and afraid I'll find myself out on the streets, but I told my therapist today that I will overdose on my medications before that happens. *sigh*
