Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So I have posted quite a bit here about work. I had graduated from college and was looking for something and not much was coming up. I had my resume rewritten and something finally did come up. I got offered a short-term contractual position that pays reallly well for a couple of months. I had to get a fingerprint card when I was teaching, which I still have, and don't have a criminal record or credit problems.
The one thing that might come up on the background check is that I had a short term alias 30 years ago due to domestic violence. I had it for one year. It was an impulsive thing that I did because I was being followed by someone and they found me at the shelter. It was a very long time ago and has never come up except once when I was doing a short term gig and I had to explain it. I don't know if it's going to be brought up or if it will be a thing now. I submit the stuff for the background check. It did not prevent me from teaching. I don't know, this is different and a totally different company. I would hate to think this would be an issue. I don't know.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that.
