What helps you get out of a depressed funk when you are stuck in one?? I just tend to ride the storm and things eventually change, but it would be nice if I had more tools to get out of a funk quicker.

I suppose that diversion is the key. Finding a suitable one for a deep funk is sometimes a challenge. I know a little bit about classical music and recently discovered that I can listen though my PC to my favorite station. Music sometimes takes time to change my attitude and I had to develop an appreciation that sometimes it did not alleviate the depression immediately that it did chip away at the problem.
