Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The TOP trending group is depression, and it has 3X as many members as the next group (which happens to be PTSD).
I know this is a help forum, but there are actually a LOT of categories. It's sad that depression tops it.
Why is our society SOOOO unhappy. I mean I know why I am.
Living in the world of the corp80 has just about killed me. I'm disabled, got dropped from disability because they didnt want to pay anymore. lawyers wont help me because they dont stand to make enough money, doctors dont want to treat me because i dont fit easily into most overhead compartments (or boxes of types of people they treat), and EVERYBODY lies.
I mean let's be real. You probably hear about 30x a day "how are you doing?" when they DONT want to know and I dont want to talk about it.
How many times a day do you hear "Oh i'm sorry". When they arent.. they dont care.. i dont even expect them to care anymore, but if that say that quote they are absolved of any wrongdoing and are basically saying "too bad, i'm not doing anything about that."
