Do your achievements define you?
I thought today that if you do not love yourself, then of course you would never pick yourself up. Any individuals need for self love is at it's most when they feel bad about where they are in life. You wouldn't invest in yourself if you don't love yourself. You wouldn't take your life in your own hands if you don't love yourself.
To come back to my first question. If one believes that their achievements define them, that they are unimportant if they don't achieve whatever they consider enough, that's when depression takes hold. That's how I am experiencing it.
