Everyday I wake up and I feel like just going right back to sleep until the next day, and this cycle continues. There aren't many things I look forward to anymore in my life. I love my family, and I have a boy to raise, but other than that, I might as well cease to exist. I've lost my vitality and will never again experience the exhilaration of things I experienced when I was younger. I am just going through the motions.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I too struggle with finding joy in things I once did before like drawing, reading, and even hanging out with friends. Something that has helped me find some happiness is going for a walk or sitting outside on my porch, even if it's just for 10 mins or so. Sometimes I'll even listen to the noises outside and try to count as many as I can hear for something to fill the time. I don't know why but there is something about the fresh air that seems to make me happier.
I often stay in my home too often and that's when I notice my mental health declines and I start to experience a lack of enjoyment in things as you mentioned. Maybe this tip could help if you wanted to give it a try one day.
