Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Unfortunately, we're all suffering right now. Can't do most of those things, so it's causing more depression. I recently had to go on a new medication, which seems to be helping. I understand to some point, but please don't do any self-harm. Try and keep busy, that wards of depression. Keeping busy always worked for me, but with the pandemic, it's very hard to fight it off. You're not the only one right now. Maybe you need to talk to someone, get a counselor? I would tell my Primary doctor just how you're feeling. Do that first. Then, Just take it one day at a time. Hang in there. We are are.
- what’s the trigger can it be removed, changed? If so do this.
- if not, or you don’t know it, this is okay too... what will it achieve? Will it make you feel better?
It’s confusing, conflicting, frustrating, emotionally draining and quite frankly cruel, but why not fight and beat it?
