I just got off a chat with a suicide help line. Talking about my hopelessness helped for a few but I'm really struggling again. I have so much pain I haven't dealt with and even the alcohol isn't numbing me out tonight. I want desperately to give up, end this fight, because I feel it is one I will never be successful at. I'm asking for strength tonight. I have a few drinks left and a bottle of pain killers next to me and I just need to force myself to keep on keeping on, though I feel so low. I need to make it to tomorrow. Please send me strength. I'm not doing well.

Others have been that I have family and pets that need me.
I feel for you and I hope your days are better (this is 3 days later).
FYI - If you go to the alcoholism board and you click on the "group" tab I have created a sub group for "Active Addiction"...its called "Active Addiction Forum".
I know you have many things going on beside that...I just wanted to give you an outlet to talk about the drinking.....as I do....if you wanted to talk about it.
