Anyone else have issues dating after a breakup, like it's gonna take them a while? I've started dating a little again, and have been attracted to other people. Even made out with someone and don't feel like I'm "cheating." This person wanted to go home together, I wasn't completely ready for that. I almost did it, but it appeared like he wanted to really get into a relationship, and I thought it would only work short-term. I reason it's not nice to lead someone on and indulge the one night stand, that for them is much more than about the one night. It's not fair to them. I said no thank you and that I decided not to go home with him, though I really wanted to and it certainly would have been quite the distraction. I almost said, "I'm sorry," but I decided not to apologize. I've been told that I apologize too much. I did feel bad that he's disappointed, but he can handle it. He said it himself he's a grown man.

I'm so depressed right now it's overwhelming, my mom might not make it, she has been there for me through my depression and anxiety, when no one else was.
