i got called into school today, when i got there social services were there, apparently a 14 year old girl who is close to family has been abusing my daughter aged 8. my daughter wrote this in the green room, "mum i feel a bit funny, she touches me everywhere, and she says things like lets do this and that and i dont want to mum, im not letting her into our house again, but im worried it will happen again " ive cried and ive screamed and now im just numb. what the fuck do i do ? ive blocked the girl from phone and internet so she cant contact my girl, but shes a kid herself ? my head is trashed, one part of me says shes a kid also the other part says but its my baby you touched ?oh god what do i do ?

14 is a little old to be playing doctor. I am not sure what I would do. She would not be around my child anymore, that is for sure. Maybe talk to the parents and see if they are going to take her to therapy or call the law and have a judge make her go to therapy.

My step son was abused from the time he was very little, supposedly no one knew about. I think the adults involved ignored what was happening to him. When he was 14 he got into trouble for doing to another boy what had been done to him for years, he doesn't know anything different. The one good thing out of this is that he finally got out of that situation and is getting help. Although I am afraid that it might be too late. What bothers me is that they have never gone after the people who did it to him and I can't understand that at all.
In your case that girl needs a lot of professional help too, kids don't just "do" these things, they have learned it somewhere. Get help for your daughter and for yourself. Other children will have to be protected from that girl, it's so very hard because she is as you say a child herself.

The girl is 14.Old enough to know maybe but not a paedo.She's a kid.A paedophile is an adult.The 14 year old could have been abused herself.Have a word with the parents,press charges if you feel you need to and keep her away from your little girl,and don't let your girl grow up thinking she was a victim.Because I don't think she is.And trust me,making her out to be a victim will give her no end of crap to deal with.I'm still dealing with being abused now at 36
