I'm finding today to be pretty hard. Tuesday is mom's birthday and today marks 2 months since she passed. This would've been the first time we could've celebrated her birthday in 8 years. I was planning on sending flowers to her at her work to surprise her.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is very hard to lose a loved one, especially a mother. Are you attending a grief support group? If you aren't, maybe it might help. Generally, a funeral home, your local church, or the newspaper should be able to give you information about grief support groups. It just helps to have someone that is going through something similiar. I am sure that your mom knew that you loved her.

I don't like being around people while I'm emotional. This site is my grief support. I do go to therapy for my depression which helps.

Very sorry. I lost my money a year ago and my grandma last week just over this grief.

My condolences to you... The end of this month will be 31 years since my Mom passed and still sometimes it seems like yesterday.. lost my Dad last year..
It is difficult to lose a parent; they will always be with you....

    I'm horrified!  I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000.  I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter.  I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change.  Now this!  I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.  I guess I have to pay...
