Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.
I have intermittent pain in my leg too and my Ultra Sound scan after 6 months showed no clot.
At least no blockage. Now I just worry that the residual clot makes me more prone to sticky red blood cells attaching to it or if they just glide over it now.
Hemo next Monday and then we will see if this is the last round of Xarelto.for now...

Let's pray that we will continue to recover!!
Sounds like the same thing to me. One hemo told me that hardened clot does NOT put you at greater risk of having another DVT, but then another said no matter what you are always at a greater risk of DVT anyway. Did you go off meds?
How far are you into treatment?
May the stockings be with you!
"A venous duplex ultrasound study of the right lower extremity shows some
chronic changes at the right peroneal vein. No occlusive clot is seen. Normal
spontaneous and phasic waveforms are present.
Impression: improved findings when compared to prior. No acute thrombus
appears present."
I just dont like the part about "some chronic changes present..." What the hell
does that mean? Can it be any more vague?

Don't let that get under your skin.
How is your leg doing? Mine is still a little larger than the left one (I had femoral-popliteal DVT), and it swells more when it rains. It almost doesnt hurt, only when Im sitting for too long, which I avoid, of course.
Wish you continue to improve,
