Normally no... just some spells. We are not like stories of across the pond... with rainy, dreary days. Thankfully. Today was warm and sunny. (they do predict rain for the next 2 days though. we will see.)

I wear shorts inside all the time, I think for the next few months I’ll be in shorts all the time.

Lining up appts to have the roof looked at … some more organizing inside and have wanted to invite new guy up here for an intro. Was planning on our take out and picnic last week, but when that day didn't work out, I never tried to reschedule. I am thinking it has been 3 weeks we barely chat... time to meet and see where things may lead. (if nowhere, wanna stop dragging it out.

What day are you hoping to meet with the new guy?

Have to see what may work for him. Thinking maybe one day after work? (M or Tu....) Or WED when I am off? On a nicer day (weather wise) Actually thinking of inviting him to the house... but rethinking. There is a small little picnic area nearby that would be safer for first meet.

I would go with public area first meet. If it goes well then you can decide it you want to invite him to your place.

Are you excited to meet him?

A little bit yes, truthfully more to see if we should even try to proceed with anything. Has been limited communication and while I did think I wanted a relationship... I am realizing it is not another prerequisite to again settle. He seems a lot like Dave... not too chatty... a procrastinator and could be content just going through the motions... Not quite my cup of tea. Thinking maybe a face to face would give me a better read. I don't want to be just an occasional fuck buddy. (pardon my mouth) I do truly have that soft spot for SM and it is throwing a wrench in things.

Our holiday was last weekend, Victoria Day.
My best friend is coming to have lunch on the deck today, I’m looking forward to that.

We just had burgers and fries yesterday, today I went for a ride to my friends farm, I brought pizza for the kids. She cut my hair while I was there.

No burgers for me. (Too steep at my store... unless I hit Wal-mart tomorrow.... but after dealing with people at our store, I will not be going to face more there... just to get some burger)....gonna do chicken and make a mini batch of potato salad for my own picnic. :P

Here in the states all normal people will have off tomorrow for memorial day. You said you had your holiday last week?

Yes last Monday was our holiday, didn't really matter with not being able to do much.

Do you have to work tomorrow?

Yes and it's going to be crazy. We got wiped out of everything so I am going early to try to start restocking before the doors open @ 6. (The only good thing is the money 2 days at time and a half, plus 8 hr holiday plus $2 differential per hr . )

Do you have meetings with the kids tomorrow?

I have a teleconference with the board and a video staff meeting. No students tomorrow.

Are there any holidays your store closes for?
