They were saying a limit of 50 originally (asshole gov guideline) but considering the size of the stores--- with the 6 ft guideline we both (us and Walmart) could safely accommodate many more. When I was at Walmart last-- no more counting at door. We haven't yet. We are forced t0 wear masks as if we get caught at work without one-- the store gets fined and closed for a time. Also saying they can fine anyone out in public not complying. We have had customers coming through without them but our company won't turn them away. There were a few chains that have not allowed people in--- a PR nightmare! (and frankly if up to me I would leave it a personal choice You can't breathe or see with the damn things -- not to mention understand what anyone tries to ask or tell you!) Of course Wonder Woman ( being the loud obnoxious one) has made it known if up to her SHE would turn em away. )

When is your son and his girl coming? I bet you are counting days.

They will be here either tomorrow evening or Thursday sometime. I’m looking forward to it. I haven’t seen him since Christmas.

Yes it is and YES definitely glad for the break from "Wonder Woman". augh!!! (hoping we have different days off so is even less contact.)

Any big plans for your day off?

My plan was to get what I need and cook for work for tomorrow.... sort through mail and catch up with a missed bill or two and vacuum the Livingroom.

Today was 54 when I just went out to get something I need to cook for boss for his birthday. He loves my cooking and is always begging me to cook for him. I still have to make homemade mac and cheese (with a crunchy crouton like topping) and a coconut custard pie. (It was raining earlier but now sun is out and is windy as hell.) I have spent the majority of the day online on here and playing a game and checking the damn dating site. Never again!! augh.

Do you stop with the snow come springtime? (Like soon????)

We usually stop with the snow early April, Mother Nature is being a bitch to us right now. We do get the odd snowstorm in April but this is getting ridiculous.

How are things going on the dating site?

Not impressed. Just going to finish out the month. Have spoken with a few but none for me--- or me them. The fact6 that we can't even really meet right now anyway does not help. I am going to sit this out and actually try meeting people ON MY OWN. Can you believe that?

Have you and hubby tried having a special date night for you two?

When things went bad for us, as part of our therapy we had to set one night a week aside for just us, we joined a curling league and would go for dinner before. That was nice for a couple of years. Lately we haven’t done much, we use to go for lunch the days we did our groceries or errands. No romance going on here.

Have you ever been wined and dined?

No not really. I think I would like that for a change.

We usually go out as a family on my birthday and just the two of us go out on our anniversary.

Do you do anything special for your birthday?

Very seldom anymore. Is quite depressing. My mom used to always make a cake and our own favorites for our bdays growing up to make our day feel special. I used to always do it too. As mom and dad and grandparents passed.. noone really does or expects anything for any but the kids. Yet another reason to feel forgotten and unimportant.

What is your favorite kind of cake?

That’s unfortunate, I have a single brother in law and I make sure we acknowledge his birthday.

My favourite cake is cherry chip. I’ve actually had to make my own a couple of times as my family did not make me one.

Believe it or not I am happy with just plain yellow with buttercream. (coconut sprinkled on top)
