Yes. I just plan to come home , kick back, relax and come on here. I did just that and have been returning a few messages. This is the most relaxed I have been in awhile.

(our county doubled yesterday-- but today held its own)

We are up to 10 cases in our small city and other northern communities are the rise as well. Scary!!

Are you planning on doing any renovations or spring cleaning while you are off?

YES
Spring cleaning and overhaul of things (still a lot of crap to discard. Renovations--- BIL is still working around their move to finish my master bath.. To replace the flooring. (already got the disposal ripped out and replaced with pipes to ready for the dishwasher) and the dryer is already in.

Are you tackling some small projects with cleaning or organizing as well?

Yes we are. We’d like to organize the basement as we may have my son and his girlfriend moving in as well in a few weeks. It’s cluttered down there and I’d like to give them some space to hang out.

Did you buy your flooring for the master bath?

He is picking it up (Lowe's). I had to choose what I wanted. (I am actually sticking with what was there but will be entire bath instead of part carpet)

Do you have to finish part of it off or just reorganize for them?

The basement is finished, just needs the clutter cleaned up. I suspect I’ll be doing a dump run, lots of unnecessary things down there.

Do you have other renovations to do besides the bathroom?

The decks and now a small section of the damn roof. :( $$$

I consider this all should be done in order to sell. (Bad news is--- after I do it, I am gonna want to stay. )

Are you going to give them a mini fridge and microwave down there? (my mind is racing from all the rennos I see on HGTV. I would love to redecorate--- just never have the money. lol)

There’s already a mini fridge in the rec room, they can use our microwave. If they are going to live here they will have to socialize with us sometimes lol

Does your BIL do all the renovations for you? Still materials are expensive :(

Yes he has lately. I did have o0thers install the new shower stall first. They gave a bid for redoing the floor but didn't include installing. BIL found out and said he would work on all the projects I need. I am so lucky to have him. (He has yet to take any money for supplies but I did tell him to keep track. He has only left me feed him once or twice so far. lol)
He is retired now (was on disability) but is itching to do something so he volunteered and said if anyone needs something done he is going to do some work on the side. (I will keep him busy for awhile.but I think he really needs a break from my sister. She can drive one to drink. lol)

Is your hubby handy? Or are you? (Dave never was so this is quite the change)

Hubby is handy but I need to push him to finish projects. I am not very handy, I’m the clean up crew.

Do you do your own yard work? I don’t mind mowing the lawn

No. Our mower broke some time back and neighbors on both sides have riding mowers and have been doing it since he couldn't and I was already frazzled from work and trying to care for him. I do convince them to take the occasional grocery gift card and I occasionally feed them . That they will take. :)

Are you looking forward to summer?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY THE BACKYARD BBQ'S & SO MUCH MORE!
