Morning buddies!

My sons were so sweet to me yesterday and the eldest and his girlfriend took me out to diner. My mother, not so sweet, she made me cry, but she did apologize later so it worked out, I guess. I spent saturday with my granson who just learned to walk and it was his first day on the beach. Adoraable is the only word that fits. I'll remember the good stuff and forget the bad.

Well, I may not be roaring yet, but I've got a little growl started! Does it still count if it's interrupted by the occasional whine and wimper?

It's a rainy day here and I'm sure I'll hear someone say that we need it! Gotta love small talk! Vermonters really love to talk about the weather...it changes so quickly!

I am with Dixie on needing some courage. I have my surgery next Tuesday for the pain pump. I am both nervous and anxious, yet completely excited. I am excited for the relief to come. But anxious because it is a surgery where I will be put under and that makes me very nervous. I just hope I can make it through the week, with the migraines that are starting back up on top of everything else. So lots of courage is needed for me right now.

Good morning, all. I started my day at 2:30...no wonder I need periods of rest during the day! When I get a chance to stretch out on my bed, my pain level has been such that I can't even relax, much less doze.

I feel like a neglectful friend for not managing to reach out to so many of you who are suffering. Please know that it's not from lack of caring...truly. I have some added stress on top of pain, rght now.

I'm keeping you all close to my heart....hugs!

Hi everyone.. I'm new to this site as of yesterday.. I can understand very well where you are all coming from.. I've been living with neurological pain for 3 and a half years now and still doing tests to find out what is causing this. Pretty much wheelchair bound now as my legs don't want to cooperate.. Not been much of a life for 3 years, thats for sure.. I do hope everyone has the best day they possibly can..

Make it stop....its only thursday morning and the middle of my life......

Hi all . I've been missing because I passed a kidney stone just over a week ago . I ended up going by ambulance to the ER. I had just barely passed the stone . Not only did I find I have 8 more stones I've been laid up in bed living on pain meds for the past 10 days . Today is the first day that I've had several hours in a row without the stabbing pain in my right side .
Serenityha I'm soooo sorry for your pain . As always I'm sending soft hugs to everyone in pain .

Been watching from the side lines, I've always been the quit one in the corner. Thought I'd chime in with my gripe.

Dorsal column stimulator remote control has been on the fritz for over 2 months, gives bogus mssg that the battery needs replacing, Boston Scientific keeps sending new batteries. I convinced them its the remote, now I have to jump thru more hoops with some foundation of theirs in order to see if we can find a first generation remote control. Yes I'm obsolete after only 8 yrs. And some genius engineer didn't design the new remotes to work with the old generators. Go figure.

More stress, more pain, one less means of coping.
