I'm doing pretty good. I'm glad it's Friday. Work has been rough physically. I will enjoy this restful weekend.

What a cute dog!!!! We have a 2 year old yellow lab and she is a rowdy one! I like your message, I feel blessed...I know that I couldn't deal with this pain without God's help. My path in life has changed. I had the best job ever---until I fell at work. I loved caring for the elderly, doing activites with them....just holding their hand. I know God put me there when He needed me there. Now that I cannot work--I am disabled and still in WC settlemet stuff....I pray that God has a new path for me. I am hoping after I have the pain pump, that I can volunteer with hospice. As long as I am making someone smile and giving them unconditional love--I feel fulfilled.

Hi Everyone, The last few weeks since Christmas have been a struggle for me. I caught a cold during the holidays and cannot seem to get over it. So with my usual MS stuff and the cold symptoms on top of it I am a worn out mess. I am so fatiqued that I can barely move. I have dealt with fatique many times in the past, but I think this is the worst it has ever gotten for me. My nurologist wants me to begin taking a a MS medication, but I am putting it off because it effects the immune system and right now mine is depleted.

Aside from starting the New Year with less than a bang I am looking forward to what this year has in store. Once I get going again I plan to get busy once again hunting for housing. I've missed everyone and I hope to get back in the swing of things soon. Hugs to all, Cathy

Good to see you all here, new and not so new. This is a thread where you can just check in when you want to.............or need to. Try to stay in touch with others. I find myself isolating at times and it definitely doesn't help.

Cathy, Buster, Jan, Maggie...(Cathy), Dootzie, Sunny,Seekn, Heather, and I know I missed some, but it's because of folks like ya'll, who share in this daily pain stuff, that make a difference in my life.......

Good afternoon! And no, I didn't just get up. My bedroom was full of woodsmoke at 4:30 this morning because my roomie (self proclaimed expert on everything) had started the woodstove.

Just how I wanted to start my first day off since last Monday! I've accomplished quite a bit, though. Laundry is done, floors are clean, cookies made.....shoulder wrecked. But at least I got all that done and didn't stop until my body made me.

Anybody else out there?

i'm about to go to bed. had to take a break over the holidays so i haven't met some new folks i see here. welcome and glad you found this wonderful site.
it's been damp and cold here and that hasn't been great, but i managed to eat a good dinner and get the pain from an 11 to a 7. i hope to sleep through the night. i wish everyone the same - a peaceful night's sleep and low pain.
