The only thing that I know right now is that my uterus is sideways I don't know what my blood test results are yet. won't know that information until Friday.

Tabby when you go to er all the test they run you get results before you leave. I have had many stomach issues and trips to er. That's often why it takes so long waiting for the test.

Many women have tilted or (like me) almost completely backwards uteruses (uteri if it's plural? :). It shouldn't cause that much pain. I didn't even know mine was like that until my third pregnancy.It can cause discomfort during certain sexual positions but not the pain you are describing unless there was something else going on. Oh, and if you get pregnant your uterus will usually flip around the right way. There are exercises you can do to help it.

And actually, I don't have a uterus at all anymore. Thanks to my hysterectomy back in September that's at least one source of pain that's gone.

They run all the test in the hospital and know the answers to those test before you leave, if they did not tell you the results that usually means that they are fine so dont worry about that.

Like bledup was saying about the uterus I think that is pretty common so that should not be causing you that much pain.

So a womans uterus being sideways is common I did not know that It worried me when they told me I called and got my blood tests results the only problem that they saw was that my iron is low. They still don't know whats causing me to be in pain They suggested That I call and get a appointment with a stomach doctor and a obgyn/ gyno as soon as possible They also told me to get a pap smear done to rule out cancer I have never had one done

OK...the bull stops here, Tabby. Check your reply #24 in your 'Going to the hospital' thread. You clearly stated that you'd had a pap smear a year ago!

Stop wasting the time and sympathy of kind people who really are in pain.

All pap smears are done to rule out cancer even the ones you get annually as that is one of the main purpose of the pap smear so dont get nervous as every women gets a pap every year. You are 22 and never had a pap? must women start having then around 16 and then every year that is why they told you to get one.


Womeans uterus should not be sideways but sometimes they are and it is not as un common as you might think. It sounds like you are ruling out alot of things that can cause the stomach pain so dont be surprised if they can not DX and it is a pain that is just there, the only good thing about that type of pain is at least you know it is nothing serious.

Yes reply 24 said you have had a pap a year ago so not sure what is meant by that. So did you have one or not and if you want us to help you got to help us help you and one thing you can do is tell us the truth and not what sounds good at the moment.

She told me she has 2 kids ages 3 and like 2mos. Then their was a pregnacy in there that she claimed a few days later she was not. She said she was pegnant when the baby was 6 weeks is that possible? I am annoyed when people lie some people on here need support for real things yet she gets more support than most with a billion holes on her stories!! I have kids and don't appreciate people pretending too.
