Sorry this reply is so late, I just joined this group, but yes, I have CFS and I did (recently) finish both shots of the Pfizer vaccine.

However, please check with your doctor first, before you get it. I had to "time" my vaccine around my CFS treatments. A call to your doctor can let you know when is a good time for you to get the vaccine.

But yes, I am pretty sure your doctor will say it is okay for you to get the vaccine. Mine was just about the timing of it. Good luck!

I had mine. I was pretty fatigued day 2 after #1, and on day 2 after #2 I was in bed, feeling like I had the flu. It took about 5-7 days to feel back to normal. I had pain in my arm at the injection area, in the muscle, for a good 3 months, but I think it's finally gone. I have a history of autoimmune disease. I am glad I got the shot and my kids just had their first shots last week. My son has autoimmune and he hardly had any symptoms. mild arm soreness. I still wear my mask and use gloves and social distance, but I feel a lot less stressed when I interact with others. and I'm hoping my kids can go back to school in August.

Did you end up getting it? I just had my booster and I felt sick on day 2 again but have been fine since I took Ibuprofen on day 3. This time I had a lot of all over body pain, but not much pain at the injection site. weird.

My son with #2 ended up having a fever on day 2.

I've had mine now (Pfizer) and it all went well. My arm was a little bit sore for a couple of days after the first one, but that was all.

I had my first shot of Pfizer just over a week ago. I was pretty freaked out to be honest as I have a highly sensitive body and react easily to drugs etc. However, I had no reaction at all, except for a sore arm for a day.. I am due to have my second shot on the 27th Oct, so hopefully I will be fine. I really still don't know what to believe about it all.

Hi - I have been trying to get signed back in for months. They finally sent me a password reset link.
I got the Moderna last April and May and then the booster in January.
One thing that's we've proven with this vaccine at least with me is that it aggravates the autoimmune issues at least temporarily. I felt lousy last July and had thyroid testing and she did an ANA. I've never had a positive ANA before and at age 62 I had a positive one. But the only thing after more testing to show up was my TPO (Hashimoto's) indicator. So it was my hypothryoid acting up big time. It was tested again in November and it was back to negative. Then I got the booster in January. Just this week we tested my ANA again and wham! Back up. I am presuming it will be back down by Summer but it definitely is an issue for a while. The doctor sent all my info to the people who are keeping track of such things (the name escapes me) and so did I as a patient. She told me that about 10% of her patients had autoimmune flares from the MRNA type vaccine but so far all have been temporary issues. So there you are. Sorry it took me so long to manage to get signed back on. I think I have 7 different emails on this site, never had so much trouble before.... Oh, hugs to all, hope all are hanging in there!

Nina1959, I am glad you posted your experience with the vaccine. I am scheduled for my booster next week(had to delay it due to autoimmune symptoms flaring up in the winter). I had a pretty high fever and a lot of heart palpitations and weakness after my second shot followed by 2 days of fatigue. I'm hoping things go a little easier with my booster, but I'm prepared to take something for the fever this time if I need to. Very interesting about your TPO levels. I'll keep that in mind, as Hashimoto flare ups are a big problem for me. It's encouraging to know they're termporary.
