I think we all change. It's just a matter of how each person in the marriage adjusts to those changes and accepts them.

He definitly changed and was not the same person that I first met.

Then again it could have been that he was in fact the same person and that he had been hiding who he truly was.

Either way the person I knew at the end wasn't the one I knew at the beginning.

He changed! But after he left me a few times i realized he changed pretty much with the seasons. Then i decided he was really sick and must be bipolar.

I changed too, looking back. I lost sight of what was important to me and I let her actions dictate my happiness and I REFUSE to ever let that happen to me again.

I don't know. I think she was the way I found out she was all along but that is not the woman I fell in love with. I fell in love with the woman she presented in the beginning.

We both changed. I knew when I married him he was selfish and lazy. I chose to put up with it bc I loved him. He knew when he married me I had some serious "Daddy issues" and that I could come accross as distant and cold. He chose to put up with it bc he loved me. I woke up and realized I didn't need him. When he didn't feel needed by me anymore, he looked for someone who needed him.

My stbxH is much the same as he was when I met him, but now with extra baggage which has made him even more angry and impatient.

So yes, he's much the same - but a bit worse, and I've gone back to the person I was when I met him (with a few extra scars!)

Mine was like two different people. Charming and wonderful when he wanted somthing. then distant and quiet, Typical manipulater.

Mine was probably the same, but became worse towards the end. There were so many red flags, but I chose to ignore them all. It's too bad, because I could have loved him a lifetime.

They were precisely the person I met at first.

That, was the problem, they did not change, or evolve.
