I posted a profile on there a long time ago, well my friend posted it for me. I rarely go on there and not sure I have ever even been rated ... maybe i should check .. could always use another boost ... :)

Personally, I don't believe they should allow rating of pictures. It' focusing on something that's not really that important.

You didn't put a picture of your wang up on display, did you? There is no such thing as a handsome wang, especially not an attractive beanbag (if you know what I mean). And even if you didn't there are enough guys on there who do (and other single's sites) that maybe people just aren't used to seeing faces, and when they do see one, it throws them off a bit?

To each is own..just remember that, looks are only a part of a person. I think most women would agree, if you have a man that has an unbelieveable personality. That makes them 100% attractive. :)

personalities don't make first impressions. That is the problem with that.

Think of it this way:

Would you want to be with a woman who ONLY wanted to be with you based off of your looks? Do you want to begin a relationship on such a superficial note?

True...very true....like I said, it still doesn't get you over the hurdle of first impression. What is the first thing we see....a person's looks. That is the kicker.

Yes that's very true....that's why I don't think alot of these online dateing sites work....

Getting to know someone for who they are in the inside is so important. Of course looks matters but if you find their heart, soul, and charisma attractive everything else falls in order. :)

In a perfect world. This world is far from perfect. People, in general, are mean and hateful. I see their true nature all the time in my line of work. It has caused me to become jaded and synical at times. I have seen gastly things.

Anyway, I still say that the dating sites can work at some level, but they sure aren't working for me and my 4.5!

Yes, I saw it. It wouldn't turn me off. Personality is truly so much more important. But of course you've got to get them interested in you to find out what a great guy you are.

Most women love humor. I find that I'm attracted to the guys that show a sense of humor. Don't be too serious in your profile. It's like trying to catch a fish, you know?

I have an odd sence of humor. I it is hard to convey humor on something that almost feels like a job application.

I think that's the key to these profiles. They can seem so much like filling out job applications, like you said. I read a couple of good ones written by guys, and they caught my attention because they were creatively humorous and made me like them.

I had started my own profile, but stopped because I need to figure out how to convey the playful me, instead of filling out the job application.
