I believe that women have the control about whether sex will happen or not. Most men...not all, but most men are willing to do it at anytime, if not all the time. I have often wondered whether or not women use this "power" to get what they want from a man. This is by no means a woman bashing thread, but rather an observation based on my own experience with women. I believe that women control sex...

This is bull.....both men and women can be in control! Depends on the damn situation. My ex in no way wanted sex all the time, and i in no way used sex to get what i wanted..what ever THAT may be. These posts bug me...you can't dump all men or all women into a lump like that...it's so umm, 1950's!

The only thing I ever used sex to get was a sense of intimacy, some attention, some affection. But I'm afraid using sex to try to obtain some sense of those things is much more about surrendering my power, than about using it.

I'm curious. What did you think the women wanted from you in a quid pro quo exchange for sex?

I'm not sorry for the options comment. If sex is cut off, then one must accept it or move on. If you can accept it, then great...but I can't. Unless there is a medical condition which prevents her from having sex, then I believe that it is part of the relationship contract...
