Grieving is a very healthy thing. And once it's out it is a very satisfying feeling. Now maybe I can go out and start to have fun and live my life w/o all this pent up bad blood in me. Oh wait I feel another relapse coming on :) purge baby purge
OK...I'm done grieving...
Yeah, it is wasted energy, but we all move on at our own pace. Smoking's no good for you either......lot's of time and money being spent on that. Poor eating.....diabetes will suck your energy like nothing else. Guns wouldn't kill people if people didn't have them. We should all drive the speed limit and wear our seat belts.
Fudge it. Anyone got a want to go for a fast ride, eat some cake and have a smoke? Perhaps line a beer or two too.
What was the original question again?
RMAN what I can not understand is how these M/W put up with the crap they have been delt and still want them back. They love them. How can you love some one who has shit on you?
I feel like the failure of a marriage, is like a failure in life...
so i guess i just sucked it up for a bit, in order to feel like i was successful...being married makes you successful, right???
I honestly couldn't understand why I was grieving. I should have been dancing circles on the moon! But I did love this person at one time. We had a relationship and I miss the person he used to be. My relationship with him died and in order for me to move on and be okay with that, I had to go through the grieving process. No matter how I fought it, my mind (and body) was hell bent on doing it whether I wanted to or not.
The culmination (I hope) came last weekend. I felt more miserable than at any other time besides the initial leaving. I couldn't believe how miserable I was. I haven't had contact with my ex in seven months so it wasn't precipitated by anything like that. I honestly don't know what brought it on. But now, today, whatever it was I'm glad. I feel like so much weight has been lifted. I can honestly say I am HAPPY. Where life looked so so and bleak, now I have hope and energy. Things are brighter and damn, it's good.
So there is a purpose to the grief. It lets you live again.
I dont see it as failure if it dont work out. You can still be successful and not be married. I have been married twice. As a father and a man I see my self as successful. Job wise is another story. The next woman I am with will get the best of me because I have learned from life.
