The way I see it what ever floats your boat, Its freedom of speech, its good to let things off your cheat. Everyone has to have someone to talk to and maybe they are like me dont have anyone to confide in, It easier to talk to a stragners behind a pc screen then a friend starring you in the face.
We need laughter too and jokes on this site. We need it all. even the prayers. Thats how we heal, talking laughter and praying for some. Seems simple to me. so post what you want and laugh when you want and vent when you want, Get it out of you system before you blow up.

I do understand how you feel, Down as I began at one stage to feel exactly the same. It can get very frustrating but at the same time consider this. When you can sit and read the posts without feeling angry or depressed and begin to sympathize and offer consolation to those who are in pain, we can begin to finally realise that our own healing has begun. Those on DS who post the discussions you mention above are not through the healing process. They are hurting and are desperately clinging to what they percieve, at this time, the only things they have - hate, grief, religion, denial etc. others lash out at others because they want to feel they have lost the power to influence anything in their lives. It is hard losing the people we gave our hearts and lives to and we all have different ways of dealing with this. Try to be patient.

LOL Jo that was funny as hell I gotta give you that! Down I agree with you on most of your points. There are some here that all they wanna do is fuckin whine, bitch moan, and complain about how horrible their stbx is but at the same time dont want to admit how badly they have screwed up themselves and god (lol sorry) help any of us that have the balls to actually say to them "hang on last I checked ur last name aint christ (sorry again) so what the fuck makes you think youre perfect????" Now dont get me wrong we all have bad days and sometimes you just gotta get it off your chest; but yeah some people on here are really in for a looooong stay here because they arent DOING anything to better themselves or their relationships (present and\or future. Doesn't matter if you were cheated on, you did the cheating, your custody situation is...everyone who comes on here reads the same posts you do. Some people may feel the same, others may not see the same things you are.

Down, you can either remain 'down for the count" or you can choose to live a little (just a little). I wouldn't be here if every single thread was a crying session. I think it's hard for some people to heal because they can't see past their own hurt. There is life after hurt. There is life during hurt. We come here to heal yes but we also come in to socialize and be with the people we like without leaving the house. I'd think you've been here long enough to see some of the same threads posted over and over again. Are you answering the threads over and over? If I'm sitting home alone feeling like crap I don't want to feel like crap with a bunch of other people I want to be with people who understand; we can find comfort together and we can laught and joke together.
