Have you ever purposely tanked a date?
I went out on a date tonight. Met the girl on-line and she is local. She is a very nice person but I am not attracted what-so-ever to her. Kind of kills it for me because her profile said that she was average and she was much bigger than average. Yes, she was a nice person but I am not attracted to her at all.
During the date I can tell that she is interested in me. Problem is that I am not interested in her so I decided to tactfully attempt to tank the date. I started talking a lot about my ex and tried to do things that I knew would send warning flags up for some people. It didn't work. So I finished the date after dinner and told her that I had a headache (which I did) and that I was going to go home and chill.
Before I get home I get a text message saying she had fun and she enjoyed my company. Why is it that when I like someone and try not to tank it things don't go the way I want them to and when I try to tank the date the girl likes me?
I feel bad about doing this but I just am not interested in this girl. I am probably going to get blasted here because I say that I wasn't attracted to her even though she was nice but I am being honest here, she just didn't catch my eye.
Honestly, have you ever tried to tank a date like I did? How do you handle these things?

I have huge shoulders, size 50, that are very muscular. My legs are carved out of stone from years of collegic level sports and working out 5 hours a day. My waist is the only residual area that hasn't quite because of diving.
I am sorry, but when you outweigh me..You are not average. When you are 5'7" and 230 pounds that is not average for a woman. 150-160 would be closer to average if you want to go that route.

This girl had her good attributes, but she was far from average. That wasn't what killed it in the end. I just wasn't attracted to her.
I can talk about what I prefer to see in a woman but the thing is that there are exceptions to everything. I will know when a woman turns my head.
Lets just surfice it to say that I am not settling for the first thing that comes around because I could have easily had this one. I am looking for someone who is not only nice but who also is attractive to me.
Have some fun and keep your expectations as close to zero as you can, prepare for the worst and hope for the best, but keep hopes a little low, it takes time and tons of dates to find someone decent...uhuh...talking from experience. And remember

Another tip, don't use dating as a socializing tool, trust me, most of them would not meet the minimum requirements to be your friend. This is internet dating we are talking about, the pool to weed is much larger than your ususal pond with firneds and all. These people have not passed the filters of your friends and peers, you have no information and no references. So, anything weird, jump out and don't look back....really....too many weirdos. Here is the goods, it will make someone decent look real good..lmao. Have fun and laugh about your dating experiences!!! And, btw, did I forget to mention you are handsome, cute, good looking, charming, and sexy? Wink wink
