Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
My ex and I just broke up. We lasted 3 years together in an LDR relationship. Just a week ago we decided to break up although Im the one who's more against the idea. I tried no contact and everything was going well but then i logged on to my art account and saw him view my story despite no longer following me. That send me to a downward spiral and i always find myself thinking about him after that. Today i felt this intense curiosity that i couldn't stop myself from lurking into his friends instagram account just to see what he's up to. (His account is private and im not following him anymore as well)
I accidentally used my own personal instagram when i clicked on the story and i felt a deep regret afterwards. If you were in his shoe would you feel uncomfortable and annoyed? is it creepy? Did I push him further away from me? we were friends more than anything, even before the relationship. But im not sure anymore, i hate that i did that. I feel like i disrespected myself even more

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

I wouldn't worry about the Instagram thing. He won't think anything of it. Try to forget about that, you have enough on your mind right now. Try not to look at any of his social media accounts at all. I know that we *want* to, and we're hoping to find "clues" about why they wanted the breakup, and to see what they're doing now.... but that only brings more heartache and it won't fix the break up.
Can you give us a little more information on your relationship? How many times a month would you see each other IN PERSON? How did it become a Long Distance Relationship, did you date in person first and one moved away?
Why did he want the break up?
Go on YouTube and search for break up videos. They are very helpful in dealing with this. I like the ones by "Clay Andrews". Search that name in YouTube and check out his videos. Going no contact isn't always the right way, and Clay Andrews does not believe in going No Contact. Check out the videos.
You're going to be okay! Lean on your friends, family.... stay super busy and distracted with things in your own life. You are very young, and you have a whole life ahead of you to plan out. Maybe he was not the One for you. Make a list of things you didn't like about him... that always helps. Maintaining a long distance relationship is pretty hard... I tried to do that, too, and it didn't work out. It's just harder.
