Well, either way, there were probably some problems going on in the relationship before she up and left.

What do you think those problems were?

We got divorced in 2019. Before the divorce she did the same thing and went to Alaska to live thats were her son lives. she sent me divorce papers from Alaska. We talked alot after the divorce an decided to try again. She suffers from depression and anxiety. She also cant let go of being a mother her kids are all grown up. I thought everything was fine even the night before there was no hint of what she was planning

That's rough. It is no fun to be surprised like this. It is shocking to your system.

Sounds like she has her mind made up. There wasn't anything more you could have done. She probably wants to go be with her kids.

Do you have kids together?

If it's you living alone now, with no kids at home, you'll have to try your best to move on with your life. Not much else you can do to try and convince her to come back. Give her space, maybe you two can talk down the road.

All you can really do now is just keep busy, go to work, contact friends or family and maybe you can get together with them, if your area is opened up to gatherings. Make plans with them to get together, maybe for a dinner. You will feel better getting outside, talking to familiar people.

Work, exercise, do stuff outside like gardening or some home projects.

I am sorry that this tragedy has befallen you. But it could have been worse. I agree with GirlinC that you need to stop waiting for something that might never happen, so it is best to pick up whatever is left of your life and move on. I know that it hurts to hear that and that it is easier said than done, but all you can do is focus on the positives that are still there. But start little and slowly. When something similar happened to me I simply enjoyed the little things in life. The fact that I can walk around, have a job, place to stay and food, I can go to places like parks and enjoy the scenery. These are things many people around the world do not even have. It is different when you have someone beside you, of course, but what can you do? I learned to create a base level where I can enjoy just being myself, I can enjoy being alone and not to depend too much on others for my happiness. Because I have a positive attitude, people enjoyed my company and eventually I met someone who I am now married to. And there is no guarantee that sometime in the future I might be alone again. So I take each day as a blessing.

Sorry for your situation. See if you can find a Pastor who can pray with you over this. They can help you decide on where the problem is - and help you determine a course of action. Divorcecare.org is a good support group with people in similar circumstances. They can give you some tools, prayer and a lot of support. If your wife is willing - you can attend a marriage seminar like "Weekend to Remember. Christian based and very good for couples who want to reconcile.
